Custom Made-to-Measure Hakama

Crafted individually to your measurements, each hakama is handmade with care and pride to provide a comfortable, personalized fit.

Choose from a variety of solid colors and select either a traditional koshiita—the firm back plate commonly found on many hakama styles—or a softer construction without a koshiita.

Can me made in either the trouser style (umanori), or the skirt style (andon).

Because every hakama is made to order, I will need the following measurements:

Waist Measurement: Measure around the area where you intend to wear the hakama.

Waist-to-Ankle Measurement: Measure from the same point at your waist straight down to your ankle.

Please provide both measurements when placing your order. Measurements should be taken carefully, as your hakama will be constructed specifically for you.

Every piece is created one at a time—not pulled from a warehouse or standardized size chart. Your hakama will be handcrafted especially for you.

I usually construct my hakamas out of durable twill or poplin fabric. If you have a personal fabric preference, do not hesitate to message me!
