Description

Complete your Japanese-inspired attire with a custom-made hakama-shita kimono, specially designed to be worn beneath hakama.

Unlike a traditional full-length kimono, a hakama-shita is cut to approximately knee length. The shorter hem reduces excess fabric beneath the hakama, allowing the outer garment to hang more cleanly and comfortably while preserving the traditional overlapping kimono silhouette. Features a small slit in the back to aid with movement.

Each hakama-shita is made from durable cotton fabric and tailored according to your selected chest, waist, and shoulder-to-hem measurements. A wide variety of solid colors is available, making it easy to coordinate the garment with your hakama, kataginu, obi, or other pieces.

This is perfect for formal martial arts demonstrations, cosplay and events, reenactments, cultural dress, or for movies and film!

Each order includes one custom-made hakama-shita kimono.

To determine the finished length, measure from the top of your shoulder straight down to where you would like the bottom hem to fall. Hakama-shita commonly fall around or just above the knee, although a shorter length may be selected according to your preference.
